Welcome to CryptoArt Sundays art lovers! This week I bring to you the incredible psychedelic artworks of Hayley Rincon. I discovered her art on Foundation, and as soon as I laid eyes on her collection, I knew I had to get an interview with this stunningly talented creator.
Hayley is visionary/psychedelic and abstract artist based the Bay Area of California. She’s been an artist ever since she could hold a pen, and creates in both digital media and fine art mediums. Her artworks are inspired by her experiences with the power of psychedelics as medicine in healing past traumas and exploring a new state of awareness.
Now let’s dive in and find out more about her creative process and her experience with NFTs.
How did you find out about the NFT space, and what attracted you to create your own NFTs?
It took me a while to finally take the plunge into NFT land. I started seeing posts by a few artists I follow on Instagram and thought it was far too complicated and I didn’t think I had anything to offer (I wasn’t aware that NFTs didn’t have to be an animation 😅).
I started talking to NFTrippy.eth on Insta for a while and he so kindly invited me to his Discord and gave me a ton of info setting up my wallet and so on. I figured if he had so much faith in me and my art, then it must be worth it to look into NFTs.
Coincidentally, I had a collection of digital artwork I’ve done in the past year or so and had no idea what to do with them, so this must be the way! He provided me with a Foundation invite and I am ever so grateful for his kindness! After that my NFT journey began!
How often do you create?
I try to create every day. Even if it is just a doodle or moving my body to create dance. It makes me feel like I am living my life as should be.
What is your creative process?
MUSIC + WEED! No but really, usually I have music on and I love to smoke weed, so that’s a big one to help me in loosening up and getting into that flow state. A good meditation session always helps also.
Are there any CryptoArtists you would love to collaborate with?
There are so many!! To start, everyone in my Discord is incredible and I’d love to collab with any of them! But the one that seriously comes to mind is Android Jones, my work is heavily inspired by his and especially by some intense spiritual journeys I have had to his artwork and VR visuals. Things that have changed my life, that would be so sick.
What do you think the future of CryptoArt will look like?
I honestly have no idea! I do know there are so many artists and forms of art to be discovered and new experiences through places like the metaverse, that I am very excited to see where it all goes! It is incredible for artists and we definitely gain from the world of CryptoArt.
What are you currently working on?
Currently I have some new digital paintings in progress and I am working on some new animations as well.
Where can collectors find your work?
